If you love photography whether you are a pro or, hobbyist or parent who just wants a beautiful location for photos The Gum Scrub has an abundance of options from the stunning sunsets & sunsrises through to the B&B itself having beautiful picturesque scenes with the nooks in both the living area and bedrooms. The long curtain wall is perfect for studio lighting or just some faded natural light to get that magical silhouette effect . 

STUDIO

If you require or would like the B&B to be set up for photos we can provide our studio lighting and a selection of props upon request.

-Studio lighting and light wall.

- ittle prop beds, bowls & baskets, wraps and fabric backdrops for posing newborns.

-  knit outfits and teddys

- flokati rugs and more.

- Octagon light diffuser for newborn photography

- kids benches for outdoor or indoor sessions

- clear umbrellas

I myself have been a travelling photographer and  I know booking away from your own studio or town can be a lot of guess work in an unfamiliar location without you usual gear.

​​If you would like photos on the property and would like a  photographer we have photographers who photograph here for you. We can then put you in touch with them OR if you have your own photographer just let us know as they are welcome. All photographer just need their own insurance.

SUNSET & SUNRISE

-

The sun rises over the mountain and the sun sets behind the trees.

Sunsets offer more time and soft light for longer. Sunrises are early and can be quicker depending on the mountain haze in the morning however the image is spectacular.
