About Us Welcome to The Gum Scrub, our little slice of Australian bushland, set across 13 acres of peaceful scrub, gum trees and rocky country.

 

I am Julia, we’re a young family, partners with two young children and this is a place we love sharing with other families. We know that kids play, explore, get dirty and love getting messy outdoors, so The Gum Scrub is designed to be genuinely family friendly.

 

For over a decade, the property including the B&B itself was used by a professional photographer drawn to the natural beauty, wildlife and ever changing light of the landscape. We love seeing families slow down, explore, get a little muddy, discover hidden spots and let the kids go wild.

 

There’s room to wander, play and make your own little adventure. We hope The Gum Scrub feels like a place where you can switch off, breathe deeply, reconnect and enjoy a little more of the Australian bush.
